What are your private pay rates?
Which telehealth platforms do you use?
I currently use Headway and Doxy.me for clients who are using insurance, paying out of pocket or using a sliding scale.
Do you have a cancellation or no-show policy?
Yes, I require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You can notify me via email, secure messaging, or voicemail. I understand that emergencies happen, and I’m happy to consider those on a case by case basis as long as there is communication. A $150 fee will be charged for missed appointments or cancellations without prior notice. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about this policy. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and missed sessions limit availability for others seeking support.
What is your confidentiality policy?
Your privacy is extremely important to me. Everything you share in therapy is kept strictly confidential, in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. This means I will not share any information about you without your written consent. If you ever have questions or concerns about confidentiality, please let me know.
There are a few legal exceptions to confidentiality, including situations where:
- There is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others
- There is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly, or dependent adult or animal
- I am required to comply with a court order
